Well true. JC doesnt have to. It was a close fight, but by no means a controversial decision. So Joe doesn;t HAVE TO. But it would be great. Especially if Joe travelled to Copenhagen, and gave some back. He has never fought a young prime good champ away. Kept the prime fighter for Wales and took the old guys away. It would be nice (but also risky - which btw. is what makes it great) to do that. It is unlikely since - Joe doesnt do rematches and he wants the farewell to happen in Cardiff (which is understandable).
Kessler has Zero chance of a rematch, Joe can only lose what he has over him. Also HBO would have zero interest in this fight.
It's Dawson or retirement. There's no other option for Calzaghe. JC/MK was a total bust in ratings for HBO, so there's no way they'd support this. They can sell either Hopkins or Dawson, I guess, but surely Calzaghe would have more interest in Dawson. He does seem to enjoy exposing American fighters. :|

Kessler has said his optimal weight lies around 166 now, so you can pick some MWs too if you want. Let us have a list of the fighters who easily beats the average fighter::deal
Yet, Kessler is the only fighter ever to have most likely won the 12th round against Calxzaghe. No other fighter has done that. Every other fighter has just gone down down down hill and if they won rounds it has always been at the start. 12th round may be the best predictor to see if they learned through the fight.
