(Excuse any misspellings or grammar mistakes thoughout the text)

    The Injury

When looking up and straight nothings wrong. When looking down he has a double vision.

    Moving back to Denmark

He's moved back to Denmark permanently. Many feared this as a sign of retirement, however Kessler explained that he just felt, he needed to spend more time with his family.

    Retirement?
No! Kessler explains that many people including his family wants him to retire now, in fear for the injuries to get worse. Kessler himself has no immidiate plan for retirement. He explains though, that he sometimes fear the many injuries he's had through out his career (Hand, shoulder, eye etc) may in the end be too overwealming for his body, and therefore force him into retirement.

    Realising the injury

After the Ward fight a member of team Kessler notices something was wrong with Kessler. Kessler himself also had his suspicions but noone thought too much of it. He fears that the Froch fight, where both fighters took quite a beating, may have made the injury worse.
However he's not putting the blame on anyone.

    Good bye Super Six.
After having realised the injury Kessler went though several eye excercises in hope of being able to continue the super six. But in the end he had to withdraw.

I would have stopped Green within 6
(I only vaguely remember this interview) Kessler explained after having seen Johnson/Green that he's devistated that he had to withdraw from the tournament, as he believes he would have destroyed Green within 6 rounds.

    Two months in, no improvements
After two months he went to the doctor, who had the sad news that there were no improvements to Kessler's injury. However Kessler's not afraid that the injury will get any worse, as several specialists (Excluding Dr. Shaw-Hi) promised him that with rest the injury would eventually heal.

    Rest = Staying in shape
Even though he's out of the ring, Kessler's still staying in shape. He's training 5 times a week, and sometimes he trains just to spend time.

    The Goal for the Future!
Kessler WANTS a comeback. He WANT his belt back. He wish to prove himself, because he feels "ashamed" of suddenly being taken out of the very tournament that was supposed to show he was the best.

Hopefully he is alright. I kind of doubt he will come back.

His eye after the Froch fight, looked like somebody took a machete to it. Then we see classless piece of Dan Goosen making jokes about it.

Don't worry about it at all my friend, your english is clearly fluent and at a far higher level than I could ever hope for my Dansk to become.

I think he would have beaten Green in good fasion. This lay off may be bad for Kessler I think the last one was telling even in that win against Froch he did not quite seem his best, the win against Froch was well deserved though. I don't know if it is just me but Kessler seemed a lot bigger before his lay off.
