Now enough of the talk about kessler fighting calzaghe again as its not going to happen.

This fight is a must happen fight at some point in the not so distant future surely, there both young, talented champions who claim to be no1 in there division, how do you think this one goes?

Probably not the best time to ask since once of them was knocked out 24 hrs ago and the other is coming off a KO victory...

 Yep, I guess theres only one answer.

To be fair though, I'd have had Kessler before this weekend.

your right it probably isnt, but it makes a change to the same hopkins/calzaghe threads we are all lucky enough to be swamped with at the minute.

Bute was indeed to be fair knocked out, now ive not seen the full fight,
but from what i've heard he was taking apart andrade and giving him a bit of a beating, and in a rematch bute in my mind would probably do the same again but without the controversial ending.

Kessler just beat a bum tonight, yes he did so impressivley, but the logical step is to fight one of the champions, Bute is considered the number 2, and many people were saying Bute would be the top dog after Calzaghe had left 168lbs, hence why i made this thread.

If it happens to be Bute's next fight, Kessler by wide decision.

Theres a lot of interesting potential fights at super middleweight.

Kessler could fight Bute, the winner of froch and pascal, and the winner of taylor and lacy.

I'd have voted Kessler before this weekend.

i'll say something that some people might not agree with, but i think Kessler's timing has been a little bit off since his fight against Calzaghe. and it seems he is getting caught off balance more than he used to. Either way he is still a very very good fighter, and i'm glad about the level of opposition he has fought in his last 2, cause that's the level i would recommend to anyone of his caliber coming off a loss.

Bute is fast, good and strong but also soft, Kessler will punish him for that!
