A question from a Canadian cousin. Aside from Calzaghe and Hatton, is there much depth to the boxing scene in the UK? Does the average Scot or Ainglishman know who the British heavyweight champion is, for instance?

As usual we were promised class and it turns up as bollocks. Great main event. The undercard is full of quality names in ridiculous fights. Last time I checked a few days ago it had about 12 TBA's. Calzaghe v Kessler Enzo v Cunnigham Rees v Salita Skelton and others facing anyone apart from journeymen Then you've got a quality card. As often is the case promoters know the main event sells itself so they don't give a **** about anything else.
