I doubt that Kessler makes 160. However Kessler will beat the living **** out of Chavez JR's roided up ass at 168.

Kessler is bigger and far more skilled than Chavez.. He will get his ass handed to him again.

Why at 160? Kessler is a natural, career 168 man, and Chavez struggles like hell to get down to 160...
Kessler should win, better boxer in every way, but of this were to happen now, Chavez may have a chance as Froch would have taken a lot out of him. Kessler after having suffered a few nervous moments, 117-111 or 116-112

    This.
Even now I can see Kessler KO'ing Chavez. Chavez's face would make a good sandbag for Kessler's jab and right hand.

no way Kessler makes 160 if you take into account his age and the years he spent at 168

If Kessler could make the weight and not be drained I would favor him.

Kessler is a sharp and accurate puncher with plenty of power, if he can handle Chavez's aggression and punch volume he might be able to outbox Chavez

he hit Froch with lots of clean rights and made Froch miss a lot in a fighter basically won on activity because Kessler was so much more effective

he seems slower and stiffer now at 34 but Chavez is a tough guy with a good chin and lots of heart

I don't see how. Chavez is used to be able to bully and push smaller fighters into the robes and throw wind mill punches at them. Chavez would walk straight into Mikkel's jab and open his mouth and eat Mikkel's right hand too.

Well from what I could make from the Froch fight Kessler needs to move up in weight to Light Heavyweight not down to get that zip back in his punches. He just didnt seem to have the same effect on Froch that he did in their first fight and if he had started a little bit earlier then he would have had a second win.

All in all if its a younger Kessler then his straight punches and power ****s Julio up for 12 rounds and his chin would hold up also.

Chavez just uses the fact he rehydrates up to 180 and beyond to have an unfair advantage, when in fact hes really not that good.
