Both of their styles are favorable to one another but I favor Kessler in this in spite of the fact neither looked great their last time out. Most of Kelly's big advantages at MW are for the most part neutralized at SMW. I think I'd favor Kessler in a points decision.

well i think Andrade in the kessler fight was fighting simmilar to pavlik by the way he attacked..Moving straight forward, with no headmovements...Im not comparising them as fighters at all...But saying that i think a fight between Kessler and Pavlik, stylewise would end up like the fight with Andrade...Odd comparison?? Not IMO;)

Well Pavlik moves forward behind his jab and punches in straight lines. Andrade hardly punch in straight lines and doesn't really jab consistently. On top of that he takes punches to land punches. Not to mention that Pavlik has longer reach and is taller than Kessler. I think Kessler would win, but he'd have to fight a smart fight and be able to slip Pavliks jab to get into range. A fight between Kessler and Pavlik would look completely different than Kessler Andrade.

Thats nonsense IMO,Andrade TRY to work behind he´s jab in the kessler fight..And is throwing he´s jab consistently,to start with!!But in that fight kessler counterpunch that jab extremly well,so later in the fight Andrade is trying to land ANYTHING possible. But to say that Andrade hardly punch in straight lines, and dosen´t throw his jab consistently,is absolutly nonsense IMO...Watch the fight!!

Are you insane? Andrade fights nothing like Pavlik. Andrade is basically a mid-range brawler who takes whatever you dish out to get inside and land short shots and straight right hands. Pavlik operates from range, behind a long jab and straight punches. He's a much better technician than Andrade, and doesn't make all the mistakes Andrade does. Not a valid comparison at all.

Kessler would probably edge it but it won't be easy for him at this stage of his career.

What justification could you possibly offer for that other than asserting some sort of equivalence between the two?

Andrade was made for Kessler. Now isn't the best time for judging him objectively since he's coming of a loss, but still: Pavlik is a better fighter than Andrade, and will give Kessler a tough night. If you think he's going to be plodding forward, reaching and falling all over the place, you've got another thing coming.

Like I said Pavlik having reach and height advantage fighting behind his jab Kessler will have to slip the jab to get in range. Difficult fight for Kessler, but winnable in my opinion.

What a surprise. You never learn do you? Kessler has a far tighter guard, his footwork is leagues ahead of Pavlik, he throws the jab quicker, he throws all his power shots far less telegraphed, he has a better chin. What did I tell you would happen to Pavlik years ago? I told you that is DREADFUL footwork and wide attacks would mean he got battered by a good counter puncher with lateral movement.

It's happened twice now. Kessler has slipped that's for sure, the Kessler that fought Calzaghe would have whipped one dimensional Froch. But Kessler is still better in almost every facet than Pavlik.

Froch and Abraham make more sense, as they are flat footed.
