Give him 1 year and he will be champ again,
Calzaghe wont give him a remacth, and I no why!
Calzaghe will move on to LHW, and Kessler can pick the belts in SMW up then,
After that Kessler should move to LHW then and remacth Calzaghe, if he's still around!

When would Joe have to defend all those belts?

Mate...what I meant was that Joe would not defend any of them and at the first available opportunity Mikkel would pick one up!:good

So you're back. Good performance from your man Kessler. But shouldn't you be changing your avatar to the fat lady or something?

Calzaghe said he's retiring in 12 months and there will be no rematch. Kessler must move on. As you must.

Just because JC doesn't want a rematch doesn't mean he thinks Kessler's gonna somehow magically find a way to beat him. Kessler was competitive but lost convincingly to the better fighter. I would happily watch a rematch but there is no contraversy to resolve and no narrow margin to avenge/widen.

That's a Best case scenario. I hope and think he can do it. There was so much for him to learn from the JC fight that he should definitely come back stronger rather than shot.:good

He's nowhere near shot! He will lose a bit of his aura but he'll become a better boxer because of the fight.

I do, however, think that Mikkel is stoppable by a bigger puncher unfortunately. He looked vulnerable and tired late on.

I've heard JC saying that but I think he'll stay in the game as long as he can make big money. As good as he is in the ring he's perhaps even better at the boxing business part of the game. He has picked fights exactly right to sustain a long career with hardly any scars. He could potentially hang around a lot longer by not taking fights that are more or less forced upon him (like the MK fight). So, maybe Kessler will have another shot at him in another weight class down the road? I think JC deep down feels that MK deserves it.

Kessler will become the first ever totally unified Super Middleweight Champion (WBA/WBC/WBO/IBF/RING) once Joe abdicates the kingdom. Not can...will.

    A little info:
Let me tell you what the sentiment is among many across the canal. The better man won the fight, that was JC. No doubt. But most statements like that are followed by "on that day". The sentiment is that JC was the better man on exactly that day. Maybe fighting in the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen with thousands boohing JC and cheering for MK, some other day, the results would have been different.
Also quite a lot think the fight was slightly closer than the final verdict. I think offering a rematch down the road would suit JCs carreer well. As ring smart as JC is he might even win by a greater margin, who knows.
    Personally I just enjoy watching:smooch
