Fair point about Taylor at SMW, but still, he’s the stand out name in the division, and the current records of Bute, Andrade and Bika don’t compare. :bbb:thumbsup

True, but I still want to see him at a heavier weight to make an honest analysis about where he really stands. He's top 5 for shure, maybe even top 3. So far, Bute is #2, but that may change this year...

Froch, Taylor, Wright, Pavlik, Arahams, Hopkins, Dawson, Tarver.
    Any of the above

Kessler will fight a no-mark on an undercard for the HBO Winky vs Williams.

    You read it here first.

Although it's sad, I think that's whats gonna happen....

(But still better than a fight against Larsen in Denmark/Germany or Gusmyl Perdomo wherever...)

I like Kessler, but that WBA title dont do him any favours really.

He needs that WBC title of Froch's.

So having the WBC instead of the WBA is gonna make him a better figter with a better legacy and erspect?

Actually I think he will fight Bika on the Dawson-Tarver undercard on HBO march 14th....

(Actually he sparred with Bika in preparations for the Andrade fight in 2007, and Bika was quoted for saying that Kessler hits with considerably more power than Calzaghe)

Yes, because he would have to beat Froch to get it.

Does anyone know if Froch would fight Kessler? I like this fight much more than Kessler vs a B-level American.

    1. It's not that hard to punch harder than Calzaghe. :yep

    2. We shouldn't pay attention to what parring partners say. Bika was paid by Kessler's people.

In that matter yes but he made it like having the WBC is better than the WBA or any other trinket.Besides Froch can't fght Kessler even if he wanted because he has to fight 2 mandatories next.

It would´nt be a step-back. If possible - but that´s up to Mr. Palle to decide - this could be a much better long-time investment than a silly fight against Larsen.
But Mr. Palle is hungry for the money and his plans are right now a money-spinner against Larsen, a man long past his prime.
