According to Danny Flexen from BN who spoke to his trainer Jimmy Tibbs last night, Kevin's eye op is thought to have gone well, he will get final results this week. All going well he will return on Frank Warrens December 11th show. BJ Saunders has also had an operation and will return in December.
Excellent news! I'm a huge Mitchell fan and it was horrible to hear the stories about his preparation for the kats fight. I feared he career may have been over. Hope he recovers from it. Would love to see him fight Murray sometime next year.

I heard he had a bust up with his misses, was sleeping round at his mum's house and was out of the **** with his mates rather than training
Kev needs to go back to 130, maybe not this fight but certainly long term that's where his world hopes lie. He's nowhere near a lightweight in my opinion, but glad to hear he's on the mend anyway.
Cutting corners in training and boozing with his pals all night in the run up to it. Plus he was rowing with his missus non stop and was moving bck and fourth to his mums house. All this leading up to the biggest fight of his life is less than ideal to say the least.
