Does anyone know when Mitchell will fight again?

Haven't heard any news since the defeat to Katsidis.

Theres been severall rumours about him.

Some have said he's gone completley of the rails and won't figth this year.

Others say he is back doing light training and thinks he needs to become physically stronger at lightweight.

Wasnt there something about him suffering an eye injury in the Kats fight and that they are not sure if he can fight again...or am I making that up.

Whatever the news, i hope he comes back. Mitchell Murray would be a *******

Hopefully he won't have to retire because he hasn't been smart with his money.

    The new Ricky Hatton!

Thanks for the replies. I hope he is back soon, I have always enjoyed watching him fight. Although, I was more than slightly pissed off with his confession that he didn't prepare properly for Kats. Having shelled out a for tickets, I wasn't impressed.

Still think he has the ability to come back and win a world title if he can knuckle down and take things more seriously.

I feel your pain m8. I dont live too far away, but i forked out 80 quid for a ticket. Its not that he lost which pissed me off, its that he didnt propare properly for it which wound me up. I am still a fan though and it'll be nice to see him back in the mix, hopefully against Murray and then back on the world stage.

He and Warren had a fall out after the upton park fight and are on bad terms at the moment. Warren shelled out a lot of cash to get Katsidis over and was very upset at the performance and excuses Mitchell made.

Warren has confirmed Mitchell owes him a fair bit of money he loaned him when he was working on the railways, so he'll be wanting that paid back sooner than later.

Yes. If he can't get focused for a stadium fight with Katsidis, that could make him a PPV star he wont get focused for anything.

That and all his talk beforehand about how he was gonna smash Kats up, I know all fighters say this, but pissed me off to hear him mouthing off when he wasn't training.

    You a Hammer mate?

    Yes mate, unfortunatly so!

Got a ST in the BMU but couldn't face going last night. Even for a tenner?

Heard it was pretty awful and we were lucky not to lose

Gonna be a long hard season again I fear.

    :finger5

Na they only charge a tenner for Carling Cup games against lower league teams to entice people to come. Last year it cost me £8 for the millwall game :good

BTW, i sincerely hope you boys lose tonight :thumbsup

Spurs reserves - don't think we have too many of your casts offs left as we have refused to do business with you lot for a year or 2. Bagpuss keeps trying to poach our players or meet our potential signings at the airport, due to the fact that he can't scout his own players.

Anyway, I wish I could say all the best for tonight!
