Katsidis said getting married and having a kid helped him, I suppose it works differently for different fighters.

 

I was so wishing he'd get back to fighting asap like Khan did when he lost. He's a good fighter but after the Prescott win I think the guy got a bit over his head and got a bit too cocky. Hopefully he can come back strong from this defeat and do it NOW. He's not getting any younger and long laybacks won't do his career much good.

Katsidis, like a lot of fighters, leaves his family and isolates himself in training camps before fights. I suppose he means his kid helps motivate him and focus on doing well to provide for it.

Mitchell stays at home before his fights so getting woken up at 3 in the morning because your toddler has shat its bed wont do you much good in your build up.
