He did really well last night kept it compact, he was in with a very speedy and strong fighter last night. and was getting beaten throughly in the first 6. but he didnt waste any punches and made maduma pay. Maduma looked a bit shook everytime he got hit was a bit wild and wasted stamina with wide punches, the stoppage was definitely fair he was breakdancing and stumbling all over the place. amazing to see him put on an extra 12lb maduma looked the bigger man in there.
Remained calm and bided his time, good strategy in the end. Thought stoppage was probably right, maduma was completely gassed and was inevitably getting stopped badly if it had continued. Would be over the moon if he wins a world strap.
Did well, as the first few rounds were looking tough so to come through that and KO the guy was a big performance. However he would have to step it up again to win a world title, still too many mistakes for me.
He does yeah. He showed some impressive patience last night though against a really strong fast opponent. At least he's earned a world title shot this time.
What !! He got beat in every single round, hes never becoming a World champion unless he fights for a vacated title against an un-worthy opponent. Good power for the stoppage although i thought it was waved off to quickly, there wasnt long left in the round and Maduma didnt look to bad.
Mitchell's done put a fork in him he is euro level at best now days he lacks determination discipline time and time again he lets himself down sure he scrapped a win but looked awful in the first 6 rounds and got lucky that his opponent who appeared to be a midget version of larry obiwinwke(or whatever his name was) gassed
not even close, he was a pretty nifty fighter, that gassed. big larry is a big chinny bum, who got smashed in the 1st by big bad john.
