WBA light-welterweight champion Amir Khan has dismissed rumours that IBF man Zab Judah is being lined up as his next opponent for a scheduled July ring return. Khan, who is currently looking for an opponent after his unification bout with Tim Bradley fell through, claimed he had no intention of fighting the five-time champ because of his style. Judah is a runner like [Paul] McCloskey, Khan told Boxing Futures. I dont want to fight another runner; I want to fight a guy who comes to fight. Why Im I going to fight a guy whos going to run all the way through the fight and not want to get hit? This is boxing, its not about running away like McCloskey. Khan had his hopes on facing WBC and WBO titleholder Tim Bradley this summer in a division decider that was first tabled last year, but with the American refusing to sign on for the fight Khan has confirmed he is looking for new challengers. I want Bradley but hes running scared. We offered him his biggest payday yet, $1.4m, but he just isnt taking it. I just have to move on and fight somebody else. We asked [Erik] Morales but he didnt want to fight. We asked Juan Manuel Marquez but he was holding out for a fight with Manny Pacquiao, which he got. And [Robert] Guerrero and Zab Judahs names have come up. But for me Guerrero is a better fight than Judah cos Zab is a runner, said Khan.
he had problems handelling the southpaw stance of paul mccloskey i think guerro would be too much for him,
