Marquez ducking Khan is priceless. It's only 12-18 months ago that this would have been seen as a walkover for Marquez.
I agree if JMM does not fight Khan he should fight Valero , i think JMM would expose Valero's style. As for JMM not fighting Khan its the right move, Khan is just too big for him and even i would not like a warrior like JMM be used as a steping stone. JMM should stay at 135 thats where he belongs and would be most effective.
Marquez, Diaz, Katsidis, Funeka, Valero any of the those 5 against each other its going to be a quality fight. add guys like Guzman even mitchell and murray comign through. Lightweight it hot. i dont get the obsession with moving up in weight. would rather see guys dominate there division for years like Calzaghe did
Whys that??, people have been saying on here that Katsidis should face Hatton, if Katsidis is good enough for Hatton, hes good enough for Khan.
Katsidis Vs Khan... Hmm I would probably prefer this to the Marquez fight as at least we know Katsidis can bang, though I would much rather see Katsidis Vs Hatton.
To roll it out for the 9000th time, 'styles make fights' . Hatton Katsidis would be an all out slugfest we assume. Wheras put either of them against Khan and it would probably go the way of the Hit & run blueprint that roach has made for Khan
Katsidis has the power though to hurt Khan which alot of people on here want Khan to face, someone with decent power.
Why is a slugfest any better than a fight in which one fighter boxes intelligently, and possibly more skillfully?
Irrelevent of whether it's 'better', It's just what people consider more entertaining, casual boxing fans especially. I was once getting a friend into boxing and was going through Mayweather's bouts and he said "Are there any decent mayweather fights or are they all boring' As to why, I don't know really as I'm not a psychologist.
