If he's the best in the world then you could say your last line about anyone. So who is Mayweather supposed to fight? Manny is the obvious choice, but barring that I'd love to see a Khan fight. Win or lose it would be compelling to watch and that's all I really care about. Mayweather is at the point in his career where there has to be money and there has to be interest and I think Khan fulfills both. I don't even like Khan.
Eh, as much as I don't like Khan I don't blame him for what he's doing. He wants to make a name for himself and sometimes you have to go out of your comfort zone and make an ass out of yourself to achieve such goal. Otherwise you end up like Paul Williams who has A level talent but a C+ name.
Khan is good, but annoying as hell. I usually like trash talk, but he's just irritating. I think he'll embarrass Madaina and possibly beat Bradley/Alexander winner, but I have it 55/45 for the winner of Bradley/Alexander. I can't wait for somebody to not drop him in the 1st round again, but to out class him and humiliate him in 12 round,
Manny is more popular and imo has more charisma your crazy.. Khan overrates himself and is stuckup imo
Khan is going to be one of the superstars in boxing in the very near future. He's going to surprise a hell of a lot of people.
Having people like you does not mean they will be willing to buy your fights. Lots of people do not like Floyd, but he is the biggest draw in the sport. The ability to get a strong reaction out of people, which Khan does 100 times better than emmanuel, is the most important factor. Think of it like this, after Floyd beats emmanuel's AZZ, Floyd will become a universally recognized name. Khan is already doing better than Floyd and manny were at their ages in the drawing sense. Let Khan clean out 140 and have a tune up at 147, and young Amir will be big enough for Mayweather-Khan to top Mayweather-emmanuel!
I agree with you to an extent. Mayweather and Pacquiao don't need to sell their fight much more, but Mayweather will be the one to get the extra fans. After Floyd goes from superstar to megastar, his fight would sell a lot, but I doubt it'll sell more than 2 million ppv buys

What he says he wants is a mayweather fight in 12 months....IMO the plan is for him to fight Midana...build his name by fighting Marquez (if Marquez makes it past Katzidis) and then I think he wants the winner of Bradley Alexander. If he makes it that far IMO he's got as good a case as anyone in the sport.
