Barrera's cut in the first round meant he couldn't see, so I dont think we can judge Khan on this fight. Yes he's very quick, but I don't think tonight has answered any questions.

Putting him in with Marquez at this stage would be ridiculous, IMO he'd get murdurerd!!

True. Beating a used up Barrera proves nothing.

I had a giggle tonight when Khan said Freddy has made him a totally different fighter. I saw him rush in all night throwing as many punches as he could. Like he always does.

Well, considering Khan is only 22 and still very much at the beginning of his career, I don't think the point of this fight was to provide us with overwhelming evidence that he's a great fighter.
It's very common for up and comers to face aging veterans who are lesser fighters than they used to be. So, Khan did what he had to do, and obviously still has a lot to prove.

The fight proved nothing. It was an abortion of a fight. Let's get Khan in with a bona fide top 10 lightweight and then let's see what he's all about. Katsidis or Prescott would spark him, and that's before you even get to the top level (Marquez).

You guys should give your countryman a second chance. We can see he's doing his best to be a better fighter.

Yeah, it was a win against a past prime MAB, but I thought it took some balls to face that guy after getting wrecked in under 1 minute, his last fight.

He's English. I'm Scottish. I feel no more affinity with him than I do with someone from Zimbabwe, Peru or Iceland.
