Not sure what video it is but if you rewatch the Khan Ko from one angle you can see Khans trainer Joel Rubio applauding the second knockdown! Seems bizzare surely he should have been concerned about his fighter. Add this to the fact that Prescott was advised to the Khan camp and Warren as a suitable opponent something seems strange. Floyd Mayweather Snr would be perfect for Khan IMO. He is due to fight again on Dec 6th at Birminghams NEC. Seems abit soon after such a brutal finish.

Why would Floyd Mayweather Snr want to train Khan though?

He was set up alright. For life. The man has made his money and he could walk away from the sport now with his health still intact and more money in the bank than most boxers will earn in their careers.

No idea. But between Reebok endorsements, Autobiograhy!!!, TV show and his short pro career, he seems to have earned quite a penny.

I see that Dean Powell was stood by the ring apron after the second knockdown waiting with a look of ineveitibility on his face with the stool in hand waiting...

    Nah, far from perfect choice.

Even ancient, crackhead Snr would still be able to easily knock Khan out.

    #1 - Jorge Rubio
#2 - He wasn't applauding, he clapped twice to get Khan's attention to usher him back to his feet, and sort of as a 'focus' gesture.
#3 - Prescott's record was padded, Rubio probably though he had seen enough in training to think that Khan could defend himself properly and beat the guy.
#4 - Not even Floyd Sr can make Khan's defense perfect. And it needs to be perfect because if he takes even one good shot he's out of there.

How on earth would a polite clap get Khans attention after just being knocked out cold in front of 20,000 people?

I didnt say Floyd Snr could make his defense perfect.Something was wrong last night, the tactics the lack of knowledge on Prescott it was shambolic from team Khan. After being knocked down against a 5 years past his best natural super feather in Michael Gomez why oh why would they pick a guy thats fought at light welter with a huge KO ratio as there next opponent especially if they know ****all about him. Seems a stupid gamble that backfired big time.
