What do you think about this match up? Apparently , Castillo refused to spar Khan at the wild card and said he wanted to fight him instead!
Stupid match up. Castillo is shot to **** and a victory for Khan could force him into a fight with somebody he's not ready for yet as what happend to Hatton.
Castillo in his prime would ruin Khan. It would like the Gomez fight, only 10 times worse. Khan wouldn't be able to deal with Castillo on the inside. Now? Khan would beat the hell out of Castillo from range, mark him up and stop him on his feet. Too quick and too fresh.
Is Devon Alexander available? He and Brdley are the only fights to persue. Of course they won't persue either of them.Castillo's far ore likely...as is Morales come to think of it.
Good fight for Khan but only from a mktg point of view ... Khan would win the fight but if hes on the undercard of PBF v Pacman this would make good financial sense ... Castillo would you believe is still a huge name in the states and they would sit up and take notice if Khan does the business in good fashion ...
That's what I was saying above. Like Hatton, a victory over Castillo could earn Khan a fight is isn't ready for.
Or he could fight a credible, non-shot opponent and none of us could give a toss what makes financial sense for him.
