Khan would have a very credible chance, given his range, speed and power. Katsidis would need to get on the inside. If Khan counter punched effectively it would be another 1st round KO...but not a style he has used before.

Castillo couldn't make 140 if his life depended on it.

Besides, with Cotto reportedly reaching out to him for his next fight, he'd be stupid to make a fight with anyone else until that sorts itself out.

 

Yeah I can just see Warren putting Khan in against an animal like Katsidis???

Khan will be only fighting a non puncher with a good record who has fought nobodies or a legend who is at least 5 years past their best, Warren wants to milk that cow for all its worth until someone finds that chin again

 

What is Kotelnik not a decent opponent these days? he did beat Maidana who everyone is banging on about.

 

Katsidis has a dodgy chin himself, Khan would stop him i'm afraid.

This fight is a complete non-starter, Castillo would never get down to 140 in a million years for a start.

 

Khan-Corrales would sound more like a Warren Move.

But Khan should go for either Bradley or Alexander, they're winnable fights, and he'd have three friggin belts. The only guy in the division I see having a chance against a Roach Trained Khan is Kendall Holt, if he comes in fully fit and motivated.

Maidana got outboxed by Kotelnik, similarly i think Khan could do the same, I mean Ortiz was boxing his ears off till he went for kill and got his ass handed to him.

 

Castillo, Judah etc all mean nothing at this point. They are names with nothing proven recently. They need to rebuild.

I think that Khan beats Castillo at 147... That is where Khan will end up, a 3 Weight World Champion...:yep

I think in time he will vacate the Light Welters, dip back in with the Lightweights, do what he has to do and then when all the other elite fighters have done there bit he will go up to 147 and do the business...:yep

Right now Khan has to tune the US market into his product, to start with the opponent is not to much of a priority, they need a name that will have a big impact when beaten by Khan...:yep

Everything is there for Khan to clean up and make a fortune along the way...:good

 

I'd love to see him in with Valero. He can punch, but his boxing skills are non-existant. The first decent boxer he comes up against will expose him, and it might as well be Khan.

 

To be fair, there is only one name on that list who I would not want to see in a ring with Khan at the moment (Valero shouldn't be on there)...who do you think it is?
