I watched a bit of Moses before he fought the Japanese lad in order to pick the fight. I correctly picked that he would win. He's okay. Okay - thats how I'd describe him. He's more of a boxer than a puncher despite his record, I think Katsidis and Valero would obviously be much bigger threats.

Valero is southpaw too, not to be underestimated. Khan has never fought a passable southpaw. Perhaps his sparring will help...but nothing replicates proper fights.

He is not faster than Khan, Khan is taller, Valero is easy to hit. I did say it's a high risk fight but is winnable, it can also go the other way.

Khan would have a great gameplan, little Valero will have to find that chin first, and Valero chin is not that great.

Compared to Khan Valero's chin is as great as Oliver McCall's. Khan's defence has improved but it's not great yet. Barrera tagged Khan a few times and hurt him, Gomez hurt him, Limond hurt him. Valero would **** him up.

When he landed a left hook on Khan's head and he looked unsteady. One of about three punches successfully landed on Khan. Ominous...

He landed a hook, that slightly shook Khan. 2nd or 3rd round IIRC.

The way you talk about his chin, why didnt Khan go down? Khan took them wild swings and boxed on.

He might have been on his way against a younger fighter without a big gash in his head. It certainly shook Khan and it didn't seem a particularly hard or well timed shot.

Khan would be killed by Valero, I would put £1000 on it.

So you are saying Khan has a decent chin?

Barrera was a natural SBW/FW and even then he wasn't a one punch KO artist. At LW when he's old and has lost his speed he isn't a danger.

Valero is a lot better then people realise. I've got a vid of him dominating a prime Morales in sparring.... He'd had about 6 fights. Watch in his fights how he creates openings and how he can change his approach if required. He's a good fighter. We've had a few come through over the years like Randall Bailey, Acliano Freitas, Kelson Pinto, Mugabi with these great big KO percenages. Valero may turn out to be the best.

Well soon you might get your bet, sooner or later Khan will have to fight these guys.

I agree. I was quite shocked at his speed, and the timing and precision of the shot that initially knocked down Pitalua. He's a little bit cocky in defence but offensively I don't think he does much wrong. He wasn't that crude at all.
