I raise this interesting potential match up if it did happen because they both have quite quick hands, now I am sure Khan is faster but despite the speed I think Linares is a better boxer, he might have lost his last fight against Demarco but I think that was bloody unlucky. Who do you think will win.

Very interesting, both guys who people had hall marked for P4P at some point.

I'd lean towards Khan because he's the bigger guy, but I wouldn't want to bet on it.

Khan wins, but Linares gives him a run for his money.

This would be a ****ing insane fight to watch, speed vs speed.

This thread was actually started because on the HBO match intro Lamley says Roach and Ariza think he is a much better prospect than Khan.

Definitely, as a Khan fan I hate to say I see more potential in Linares, his skill set is quite good but he needs to focus on defence, he can control the ring to an extent though but perhaps we are yet to see him face a fighter than can pressure him like Lamont against Khan. Now in terms of power I am not sure who is the better guy here, I don't really rate Khans power like some people on this board but I am currently rewatching Linares vs Demarco so I'll have to see from this.

Would be an entertaining fight but I do not think Linares is physically strong enough to beat Kahn at 140lbs. I think he even lacks the physical strength to beat the best at 135 judging by the Demarco fight where he outboxed Demarco for the first half of the fight.

Linares punches won't phase khan & his defence is poor, an easy UD for KHAN in my opinion,

Roach can go to both corners one turn each, Ariza attends the most hurt of the two. The winner keeps Roach. Toin coss who starts off with the Roach in the corner for the first round.

The real winner is roach in this fight. He'd be making money for training both fighters. Still dont think its as much as he will make sitting in pacs corner.

Has this ever been done, a trainer training both fighters to fight each other?
