to say khan hasn't made improvements is idiotic

he went from being on ***** street against domestic level bums and getting his **** pushed in by breidis presscot to beating the likes of maidana and judah.

 

The fight clearly exposed his terrible defensive skills.

 

All this "exposed" crap is bull****, and happens after every fight a guy losses, even if it's close. Khan will come back from this and improve, it was a great learning fight for him. Losing to a hometown fighter in a close fight is nothing to be ashamed off, especially when he puts it all on the line like Lamont did.

 

Why are people acting like peterson dominated the entire fight ? I am struggling to find more than 4 rounds for peterson here even the 12th was a 9-9 round

 

Khan was exposed. As everyone now knows the blueprint to beating him

 

Because people are idiots that resort to hyperbole whenever a guy loses. No matter how close it was.

 

Khan certainly wasn't 'exposed'. What he is is absurdly overhyped. And that's what you saw last night. He's a good fighter, same as Peterson, but he's not, nor ever has been, a Great fighter.

 

Khan has a really difficult decision to make. I think Roach has taken his game as far as he can imo. He really needs to find a trainer who can build on what Roach has improved in him offensively and work on the obvious flaws in his defensive game. Controversial I know as Roach is still a great trainer, but it's something he should atleast consider what with Roach's condition unfortunately deteriorating aswell. I think Roach should use his limited energy on training Pacquiao from now on.

 

Saying he was exposed discredits Peterson's great effort. His flaws were exploited, but his great strengths had to be overcome as well.

 

He was exposed when he was getting put on his ass by fighters with 10% KO rates. He has no Chin and an awful Amateur style. He can't fight for ****. He needs to retire.

 

Yeah i picked peterson to win too but the thing is he lost more rounds. He started to let the fight slip away the 2nd half. Hardly threw a punch at times and was able to do whatever he wanted while khan was getting called out for pushing little monty. Khan deserved the nod. Definitely a home cooking by the hometown dc ref. No doubt about it :bart

 

Nah, he's a great fighter with flaws, that simply lost to a good fighter fighting outside of his skin on the night (and even then it took him 2 point deductions to make it to an SD).
