So who in your opinion is next for Amir? In my mind I dont think he has had a top level (or even near top) fight - Barrera was shot and cut hugely in that farce of a fight. Salita just showed how ridiculous the WBA rankings are..... Kotelnik was as Amir says the worst world champion around when he fought him. So who does he take on? Maidana, Ortiz, Urango, Diaz, Malinaggi? Or does Warren protect him and feed him bums as usual?
I dont think Warren will have as much say in Khan as he used to. I hope he fights Malinaggi - Diaz winner. Diaz Khan would be quality
Maidana. Clear up this 'interim' bull****...... and it will put a few doubters in their place if he pulls it off. He is a dangerous puncher, but prone to being caught himself.
I dont think Warren will be able to get away with serving up a total bum as dont think Roach or Khan will stand for it. I reckon the winner of Malinaggi/Diaz is a possability. Though he could go down the 'name' route of Ngoudjo or target someone like Campbell or Casamayor if he thinks they are sufficently faded. Personally i'd put him in with Alexander or Hopkins then Bradley in the summer.
i hope he faces maidana. i think he'll fight the diaz - mallignaggi winner which again won't be such a bad fight. he better ****in not fight morales
Maidana. If not Maidana, winner of Paulie-Juan Diaz 2. Maidana is fairly essential, he's the other mandatory. If he has to wait whilst Khan makes a voluntary, I hope it's not Judah, who just wouldn't be an adavancement for Khan. Judah is shot. Devon Alexander would be an interesting matchup, not sure how they'd go about getting a unification. Maidana is an easy fight to make (Mandatory) an easy fight to promote, and a very tough challenge for Amir. Let's see if he can protect his chin against a sometimes unpredictable, relentless foe, but one that has shown vulnerabilities to fast punchers. Basically, can Khan do a better job than Ortiz?
maidana would be good but feel they will find a opponent who is could well be moving up from lightweight
I think that the Magic Man would be a good move, I think that Khan would smash him to peices...:yep A name like Morales will get people watching the fight and tune people into the product of Khan on the US market...not a fight I would want to see but it makes good box office and media spin for the future... Hasn't the key always been about who you fight and when you fight them...in many cases it is about who you don't fight as well. I think that Diaz would be a good option... We may see Amir Khan on the undercard of PBF v Pac Man...:think

lets all remember that Khan is still young, he doesn't need to rush in to top quality opponents while he is still learning and perfecting his new style under roach... so if he does end up fighting a low risk opponent i personally wouldn't be that bovard (atm), but fighting on the undercard of mayweather/pac would be good experience for him and would be good exposure to the american public no matter who he fights.
I will be suprised if Khan fights in the UK for sometime now... A definate assault on the US Market now... Khan has made the right choice re-locating to LA...:yep
He would get major credit from me if he beat Maidana. I could see them going for the Malignaggi fight though.
I'd love to see him in with Zab, I dont think he's shot he's just a massive bellend and isnt a welterweight where he's been getting beat, but reading some stuff from him lately he seems to have finally grown up a bit and is desperate to make waves at 140. Though he seems intent on fighting Urango. He'd certainly offer more than that bum last night, speedy and can hit, yes please.
Judah just isn't anywhere near top-level anymore. Someone like Paulie is. Who has Zab fought in the last year (post-Clottey that is) Paulie has fought Hatton and then Juan Diaz. If not, then Nate Campbell would be more relevant then Zab, as would Witter. :deal
Paulie isnt top level, he's a decent operator with no power. I'd rather see him in with Zab, at least he can bang.
