Khan has tons of options. Hatton, Marquez, Bradley, Holt, Alexander, Maidana. Any of which would be credible wins and earn him more respect.

Yep its all set up for him to make that step up in class, and now with his own promotion company maybe he will have more of a say in who and where he wants to fight next. All of them names have risk next to them but if Khan wants to be the best he has to fight the best and that has its risks.

I don't really mind who he fights as long as its not a shot small man like Morales, we've been over that ground once already. 140 has plenty of options without having to resort to a lazy money making fight like that. There are a ton of good fights where people would be 50/50 as to if Khan could beat them, thinking about the names above. So if he won he'd start to get that credibility where people realize he's not just a glass jaw, he's a real fighter that works around his weaknesses.

I think the man who decides on how much Khan is ready is the man who trains him and see him spar Roach. It depends if Roach feels his fighter is ready for that step up. Yesterday after the fight Roach said Khan is ready for anyone at 140, lets see if him and his handlers show this faith in Khan.

I feel he is ready for that step up.

a Maidana fight on the Pac-Floyd UC would be awesome

would have been good, but at the time he had that ITV contract and all the other big Warren fighters where on Setanta.

I cant see him fighting Judah to big a risk if he does fight Judah id definitley pay to watch that though. If he fights marquez though i could see Khan getting a UD i think Marquez is to slow footed now and just not what he was at the lower weights.

If he wants to earn respect fight maidana, if he fought and beat maidana i would honestly give him the respect he deserves i'm sure no 1 would have any excuse to criticize him but knowing warren he'd end up fighting gavin rees or Ajose Olusegan

Sounds like Frank wants him to continue in the UK, probably the right idea, Frank is also right about journalists questioning him about his religion, race, his thoughts on Muslim extremism every interview.

The Magic Man would be their ideal opponent, as has been previously stated, it's also a relatively even match up at this point in their careers. Paulie is fast ,can't punch, but has plenty big fight experience, Cotto, Hatton etc. He is also well known over here. Khan is gettin better every fight, but still only 22 (just) and has never fought in the US. If Paulie gets past Diaz, it would be sit well on the Mayweather v Pacquiao undercard. Plus the build up with Paulie is always good value!

I'm not convinced Khan v JMM is a fight Khan should take, at the moment, pre-Mayweather JMM was constantly top 5 P4P.

As long as it isn't Morales.

I'd be surprised if the WBA sanctioned it (well maybe not) but Morales shouldn't have gone above 130...... was whupped by Raheem and edged out by a very average, hittable, slow Diaz.

Other than a rematch with Salita any top 50 LWW would be better for him.

Alexander certainly, and it would be a decent fight...I think that Hopkins is finished, I haven't heard anything of him in ages

I know that most of those blokes on the list are dangerous, but the only one that shits me up for Khan is Urango
