Kid Galivan's prime losses

    He seems to have a few prime defeats against fighters he seemed to be better than. Does anyone know if any were robberies or if he was wearing the cuffs in any of these? I'd also expect him to have the perfect style to beat Ike Williams, but ofcourse he lost 1 of those, although apparently the crowd boo'ed the decision

    Some people complained about the decision Sugar Ray Robinson got in one of their bouts , arguing the Kid one at least one of them.

    When an American crowd boos against an American beating a Cuban, what else is there to say?

    Gavilan's losses to Felton, Graham, Villemain, Costner, Hairston and Saxton were all bull****. I even thought he beat Bang-bang Womber.

    His draw against Bratton was also complete bull****.

    Gavilan is, quite simply, one of the best ever and still underrated because of his boxrecord.
