Where does ESB Classic rate him all-time in the heavenly Welterweight Kingdom these days?

No.2 or no.3 depending on how I'm feeling about Ray Leonard on any given day.

Yeah, 2 or 3 for me too.

Holds his own with pretty much anyone you care to name in the welterweight division.

ESB ranked him #5 in Rummy's poll:

    1. 1049 Sugar Ray Robinson (41)
    2. 524 Sugar Ray Leonard
    3. 322 Henry Armstrong
    4. 301 Jose Napoles
    5. 275 Kid Gavilan

I personally had him at #4.

    01 - Sugar Ray Robinson
    02 - Sugar Ray Leonard
    03 - Jack Britton
    04 - Kid Gavilan

Britton is the guy I could see pushing either Leonard or Gavilan out of the top 3.

Didn't Hasegawa make the top ten bantams?!?!

To be fair I never took my picks seriously back then. I would now!

    I completely trust Flea's opinion.

He said El Feo is the 2nd greatest welter of all time.

Here's his list in case you missed it, HoI:

I believe he is at a size disadvantage against most conventionally acknowledged welterweights, but that is not to say his talent won't shine through regardless. He is well among the very best of the bunch, but his exact placing depends on whom you include in your list.
