I think this would be a great matchup. It would be a slugfest, a war. Who do you think will win this fight if it happens. Feel free to give your reasons. For me it's a really tough call. PS: This is my first thread, and i tried to add a poll, not sure i was able to.
Yeah, I would say he fights one or two tune-ups then take on Angulo. But one reason i don't see this fight happening anytime soon is because their promoters will probably want them to make more noise and then fight each other eventually.
I very well doubt that Angulo, who is respectively a very strong puncher, hits harder than kirkland. Kirkland is a beast with extreme punching power. This would be a great fight and I damn sure hope it gets made after James has a couple tune ups. I wouldnt count Angulo out by any means but in my opinion Kirkland gets the best of a back and fourth battle at the end of the day.
I think Kirkland might of won by decision before he got locked up, but I think Angulo has been improving lately and has shown a hell of a chin. Kirkland has very good speed and power, but he seems to rely way to much on that and hasn't been put through deep waters yet and I think Angulo is the one to do it. I don't see Angulo taking a step back from this one this has makings of fight of the year whenever or if ever it happens. Need to see Kirkland in action, but since his Julio fight, I'd pick Angulo by a close decision. Kirkland would win the first 3, but I dont know for how long he might be able to keep his activity level up and I know Angulo has very good chances of taking his punches, will Kirkland be able to take Angulo's pressure? This one needs to happen!
