Berto is much like PWill in the sense that southpaws are his kryptonite. And one who has lateral movement...****in' hell forget it. Collazo has decent movement and was IMO robbed of a decision victory. Berto's power is immensely overrated and to see people jumping on Berto's train after him not fighting in 203809834 years....makes me laugh. I see Carlos pulling it off.

Love your take on it and i cant say i think your too far off.... this is what its all about, differant people picking differant fighters to win... :good Personally, i dont think Quintana is as good as Collazo, and while i expect Quintana to give Berto problems early with his movement, i expect to see Berto start landing around the 6th, 7th, 8th and idk, i actually DONT really favor Berto to stop Q but then again i just 'see' it for some reason, so im going with that.

    Cant wait!

Q beat Joel Julio @ 154 and PDub...Collazo has no claim to fame other than losing to a bunch of good fighters. I think you should retract that statement.

I will retract it should Q beat Berto, or give him as close a fight as Collazo did. That is a promise :good As of now i have to stick with what i believe, and that is that Collazo, despite lacking signature wins, is better then Q, just going off what i think i see out of them. But like i said, should Q make it close with Berto, or of course beat him, then i will admit i was wrong (which would show in my prediction being wrong as well)

The only concern I have for this fight is that Berto notorious for being a hugger. Im not sure who's worse him or Ruiz in their prime hugging form...it's pathetic. One of the reasons Collazo did so well is because the ref deducted a point for holding too much. Take that out of his arsenal and he's about as lost as Jones without his reflexes.

Then against Urango, he was able to hold as much as he wanted and all of a sudden he's winning a lob-sided UD (even in which many people felt that Berto was pretty scared of Juan's power after being wobbled in the early going)

Berto isnt elite...the guy is simply great raw material for a boxer, but he's flat footed at times, insanely inaccurate with his shots for someone who throws as fast as he does. Suspect chin, and overall fundamentally flawed.
