Allan Green was just not prepared for that.

Lol, I was really considering Nino but couldn't get rid of the thought Mayol headbutting to a decision. I have no comment on the other fight cause I've never seen either fighter, picked based on record I have to admit. Ward did what was expected. Anyway, congratulations to the new leader, may your reign be just as long until I catch you! :)

Thats just Green though IMO, he will always have an excuse for why he performs like that, but at the end of the day he just lacks the will, heart, and boxing IQ to change. The danger will always be there that he will land that one bomb, which was my biggest fear in this fight, but he even finds a way of minimizing his own best weapon by never really throwing it.

He shouldnt be in this tourny and the fighters that get him have lucked out in a way IMO.

But back to Ward, i actually was impressed with him, ya what he did wasnt pretty, but it was smart. He didnt want to box from the outside with green with greens reach and power, so he took him to the ropes and fought in front of his chest.... taking away greens only chance, as slim as it was, and made his power and reach almost pointless.

I cant wait for Ward vs Dirrell :bbb

Yep. What Ward did was masterful, and Ward vs. Dirrell is certainly the boxing match to see.

Theres like 13 of you that constantly hog the top spots up there.... And your starting to take command, been really impressed with your picking (but then again you seem to be on top of it year in and year out)

Yo Freddy, I am not a really a fan of Ward at all, but it seemed to me that you are, what did you think of his performence against Green? did you like it or no?

So im trying to gauge the Duddy vs Chavez fight, what a decent fight. Ya, their not world beaters, and i know ive been hard on Jr through the years, but this is just a good, sit back and relax n watch these two slug it out type fight. I cant quite get a grip on who im favoring here, im leaning towards duddy as he might be a bit bigger (?) with more experience..... but not quite sure enough to want to put it down officially.

pretty excited for this fight though for a lower level type fight. should be pretty decent.

    Its funny because its true....

In one, two slick and skilled americans will square off in a chess match, the other, two bangers who will be going at eachother in a minor slugfest (i happen to think that Froch will play it smart and try to box as best he can, i think he knows it would be foolish for him to try and slug with AA) but its bound to happen at some point.

Both will be equally exciting for me, but with two very opposite type fights on display lol. I actually cant wait for those :-(

Damn i love the Super Six.

and to tell you the truth, about half of my losses are picking ****ers i never even heard of....:fire

i loved wards performance bro...he bullied green to the ropes and worked inside....people confuse that with clinching and holding, but when you work in there it's called skill........i loved it, he's slowly becoming one of my fav's....:good
