    congrats with your number one position
    this is also the first year you pick every fight
    so it's no coincidence
    something tells me you really want that title
    you will be several weeks away with the army this year i believe
    hopefully you can log in just once to make your picks for the entire month
    with so many quality competitors here
    you just can not afford being absent for even just 1 week

    don't even know what a posting syntax is
    looked it up at google and couldn't find it
    just posting from my desktop all the time
    my father is Flemish and my mother is French
    part of my family comes from Germany
    English is only my 4th language
    when i speak English
    i am like that messenger from "Allo ' Allo !"
    with a horrible accent
    every sentence i post seperately
    that way
    i make sure i don't make horrible mistakes

    Ya this is the first year Im really in it to compete.... which means picking every fight instead of the 5 a month I would normally do. Ive actually had to look quite a few boxers up, my knowledge isnt as deep as many here (you, ib, tackle, dan, robney, pinoy, ect) but its been great to learn about these fighters in order to make a pick.

    I was thinking about that.... this year will be even longer, I think about a month total Ill be gone. We will be doing field work (shooting artillary, but basically living in the field, no barracks, no computers, ect) for about a month at 29 Palms this year so Im gonna have to come up with a way that I can make that work.

    By all means I could have already dropped from the top spot by then and it wont matter, but Im feeling good about this year and how I am seeing fights n fighters so I expect to be in the top 10 throughout the year.... and you are right, 1 fight can make all the difference by the end of the year. So I cant afford to miss any more then I already have (I already missed a gimme fight that I forgot to pick on.... if I would have picked who I was going for Id be 15-2 instead of 14-2... so its already hurt me)

    Anyways, we shall see. Pretty exciting so far though :happy:bbb
