:bart Mikkel is asexual. (which is my preferred conclusion to draw from him never being known to have girlfriends...)

2/9 - Kiko Martinez vs. Carl Frampton - 12x3 EBU Super Bantamweight Title (SKY)
2/9 - Lee Selby vs. Martin Lindsay - 12x3 BBBofC British Featherweight Title (SKY)

    ----------------------

    Bizier UD
    Frampton TKO 11

Selby vs Lindsay : This seems like a tough one. Havent seen any of these guys fight before so been doing some 'studying' on them.... seems like this will be a good fight. Ill put my pick in a bit later for this.

    I honestly can't wait.

The bute fight overshadowed anything I've witnessed as a fan and this can only be an improvement.

There's me and 4 mates, we're gonna book an hotel and hit the clubs afterwards. Probably gonna find me a lady friend for the night as well :good

Right now 5 people are picking Selby, 3 people are picking Lindsay.

Im gonna go with the underdog here (for our league at the current time) and go with Lindsay. I see certain things in this matchup, but who knows.... Im going off of very little seen of either guy. I just see some vulnerabilities in Selby.

    So

    Lindsay TKO 5

Selby is gonna knock him out mate. His record is so deceptive, maybe more so than anyone at that level today. He has 1 shot power but used to drain himself to cut weight. He was much weaker early on as a pro but whenever he's fought at that weight he's sparked his opponent. He knocked out John Simpson, that was as unthinkable as say someone knocking out glen Johnson. The only way Selby loses is if he believes in his power too much and abandons his jab.

I know on paper Lindsay looks better but he's the underdog for a reason.

    Agreed.

Selby at present is kind of like Hozumi Hasegawa from 2006-2009, kirk. All of a sudden, mid-career, boom, crazy world class power.

Just watched Selbys last fight, You know what, I think I will stick to the underdog here.

Thank you for the insight on these two though, much appreciated and useful. I can see why Selby is the favorite.

    We will see.

Im gonna stick with Lindsay by TKO

Will be a good chance for you guys to pick up the peoples championship whoever wants to challenge for it :good

It is crazy his power developing. Before the fight with smith he'd just fought a handful of 6 rounders at the higher class and I feel he never took himself seriously. Maybe he wasn't cutting at the last minute, maybe he was bloating up but either way he was nowhere near as sharp nor strong as he looked that night.

In the post fight interview he said he always knew he had the power but he only displayed it in title fights (low level domestic titles that are the gemstone of British level boxing).

He's essentially clearing out domestically. He is welsh, he beat the best English feather in Smith, the best Scottish feather in Simpson and he's about to stop the best Irish feather in Lindsay.

After this he'll test himself at euro level and it's gonna be interesting to see how he's matched.

IB and Lufcrazy hit the nail on the head with their prediction
    however
this fight will be in Belfast
in front of thousands of his own people
Lindsay will fight at 130 % of his capacity
this fight could become very interesting because of that

I know the big money is in america, but I cant help but feel that boxing is so much more alive in the UK then it is here. Just imo and I could be wrong, but it just seems like they care more about it over there. Cool boxing shows, packed arenas, rabid fans. Seems awesome.
