More tricky than tall. Before Rios, he wasn't very well-known (or even mentioned by the Cuban fans) and he is never someone you really look forward to watching. VERY ugly and negative style. Before Rios his biggest achievements were smacking around the badly diminished Miguel Acosta (who became shot overnight after his own loss to Rios) and lasting the distance in losses to Hank Lundy and Breidis Prescott. I was ringside for his loss to Lundy. It is the worst fight I've ever witnessed in person in my life...and that includes sloppy brawls outside bars. He is the kind that many label a "runner" but IMO his clinching is the worse problem. He puts Molina to shame. Up there p4p with Ruiz.
