Hey, come on! It’s a low budget, talent showcase card for South Texas. I already have my ring side tickets and I hope the local promoters (and Top Rank) do a great job and get some good ticket sales. Sure, the opponents shouldn’t be challenging for world titles, but at least the fans down here get to see some world champions performing live. I’m happy to see Ramirez, Beltran, Ancajas, AND all the undercard action!
You're right, not every card can an be sterling, but damn it is televised and couldn't cheapskate Bob ponied up for a Periban, Medina or even a Paul Smith? Have fun though man, there's nothing I love more than Boxing cards you don't have to travel far for. I'm still fuming Gassiev-Dorticos wasn't held in Florida.
