Those were tragedies, but I still enjoy it, especially around this time. Wrestlemania is around the corner!
Its pretty obvious WWE doesn't think Goldberg has what it takes to actually work a full match they're probably putting him through the ringer training him day in and day out, then they let him run in a squash a guy quickly to keep him involved until he gets back into fighting shape fully.
That or they're trying to recreate his dominance he had in WCW... 2 mins left in the show, and it hasn't started yet.
