That's a fight he could very well lose... Ioka has been in with much better fighters, and had a close fight with Ruenroeng who beat Shiming pretty clearly.

Oh boy.... You don't even know! He was one of the most hated MMA fighters for a while for that reason. Believe it or not he's actually mellowed out a bit, he used to be even worse!

As fan of both sports... What's going on is extremely obvious to me... The UFC has told their fighters not to say the truth and say that McGregor will win or has a very good shot. These guys watch boxing, understand the fight game. They aren't meatheads backing their own guy "just because" I believe they're just being company men.

- Gokhan Saki who just signed with the UFC and has a fight soon is backing McGregor to win(Saki is a high level striker so this is ludicrous coming from him)

- Eddie Alvarez(who McGregor ripped the Lightweight belt from) said "You're an idiot if you don't think McGregor has a great shot at winning." Eddie is a very level headed guy and a realist so it's pretty clear that he's been payed to spew this nonsense.

There's a couple of other examples but I can't think of them off the top of my head......

 

He's got a horrifically bad chin and has been KO'd in hilarious fashion several times... He tried making a name for himself on the backs of Pride legends... Only for it to backfire when an old Nogueira(who's known for his grappling) KO'd him in the very 1st round. He was brutally KO'd by a phantom bunch against big lumberjacking oaf Ben Rothwell, his physical reactions after being KO'd became a massive meme in MMA circles(he was grabbing at air after the ref stopped the fight) Oh yeah.... MMA's very own Butterbean KHTFO, and Ronda's hubby Travis Browne beat the living **** out of him and he retired shortly thereafter. Joe Rogan has to bring him down to earth a couple of times on his podcast, and told him bluntly that the top heavyweights are levels above him and that he should retire for his own well being.
