Firstly, great avatar! And secondly, I agree its not the most exciting match-up, but for me its the principle. Regardless of the opponent Vitali is one half of the heavyweight championship, and its just not good for the sport if a heavyweight championship of the world is not televised in this country. :?
Agreed mate, just saw it on Seconds Out, could be a good night of boxing. And as good as Vitali is/was the performance against Del Boy showed he is definitely not the boxer he was; this Charr could just be the man at the right time? (Probably not, but you never know!)
The closer it gets to the date the more likely Boxnation are of picking this up for a pittance as they have nothing in Europe on that night. Sky I doubt would be interested and Channel 5 don't seem to be fussed in showing anything other than Henessey's cards.
I really hope so......... Boxnation have a pretty healthy looking line-up over the next few months, and I like the way things are going, but they should really be picking up shows like this to show they mean business. I'm not saying its a great match-up necessarily, its just he's the HW champion, and a boxing channel should always aim to show the HW title fights IMO.
would love channel 5 to snap this up. It would get watched for sure and that would mean more fights on channel5, wont happen though.
