Leapei reminded me of Chisora with a plod forward style, plenty of desire, plenty of heart but simply not good enough to land the killer punch at the highest level. Fury will have a go but will end up staring at the ceiling. Wlad looks far too good for the current crop coming through although the first round against Wilder would be interesting. Anthony Joshua is the next big test for Wlad in 2017 if he has not retired.
you could see the shift in the fifth. The first 4 he was stepping back on every jab and straight and they were just thudding blows but after he got hit he stepped into his punches and there was snap in the punches and less tha 30 seconds later the fight was over
I really enjoyed the coverage on Saturday night. The fight was predictable and very frustrating, but the talk in the Studio was superb. Tyson Fury was star quality as usual and the Bird was bang tidy, but Steve Collins is something else man. Collins is passionate, raw and mental and more to the point very educated about boxing (he's been there done it and bought the t-shirt) and I don't care what anybody say's there's still plenty of fight in the old dog yet. Hopefully we see a lot more of the 'Celtic Warrior' on TV especially with all the boxing coverage were getting.
