Wlad has decent wins in Haye, Chambers and Byrd, nobody disputes that. Clearly though, neither of these guys can compete with A-level wins an ATG is supposed to have.

In reality Waldo will go down as ATG, being the heavyweight who dominated the scene after the last ATG in HW, Lennox Lewis, retired. This will be the consensual opinion of the far majority of people involved with the sport. Have fun dealing with it.

welllllll, actually the existence of a guy that he cant fight, and who is clearly the other great fighter of the generation, will muddy the whole "dominated the scene" part.

yeah, but give it some time and Vitklit will fade out of the picture. First his resume is much inferior and I guess he will retire some years before Waldo, so that Waldo can collect his belt. Also Povetkin will be cashed out against Waldo at some point. In the current landscape it is highely likely that Waldo will end up as unified champ. In a decade or two only hardcore fans will talk the level of opposition, the vast majority will view Waldo as the first dominant champ after Lennox. Be honest, if you hear Joe Louis, do you think ATG or bum of the month club?

Have you ever boxed before ? Someone throwing punches like that, it´s troublesome. Why else do you think Wladimir crawled up like that ?
Wach landed a punch, went nuts (the right thing to do) and Wladimir pulled through with relative ease.
    No one got hurt :D

Exactly. Plus Wlad's pathetic performance in the fight vs. Haye and in several other stinkers will always diminish his legacy. It's not just that he hasn't beaten a solid A-level opponent, it is that he safety firsts his way against lesser competition.

Whoa dude you are terribly ignorant and basically a twat like any other klittard on here. You didn't even address my point that Wlad has no ATG wins (unarguable) unlike any other ATG heavy and simply retorted "ololol most will regard him as an ATG deal w/ it". That sums klittard logic up quite nicely.

Wlad's resume is unworthy of an ATG, that's not an opinion but most of you guys consider longevity and number of defences a proper criteria to put him up there with the best, fair enough, I don't.

Also, I find it terribly ignorant to dismiss his awful losses as being pre-prime when he had roughly 40 fights at that time a ****ing gold medal. Sometimes I wonder if you klittards have a scope for cause and effect - did Wlad lose because he was pre-prime in his mid-****ing-twenties and 40 fights or has he not lost ever since because the opposition is laughable? Pretty sure it's option #2. Wach hit him flush with a single punch all night and had him hurt considerably.
