anyone have the lineage for the knockout record? i read that stribling had it at 101 against wild bill rowe in 1928 and im curious who had it previously at 100 and if stribling still has it?
can anyone elaborate on this? stribling would appear to have it over armstrong entirely at any point, same as robinson, with moore taking it? and any idea who had it before stribling? had to be at 100 cause i read he took it at 101
Saddler has more than 100 and according to boxrec (take that for what you will) Kid Azteca has more than 100 too. I was gonna start a thread asking if anybody could tell me more about Kid Azteca. Besides the fact that he apparently was a tremendous body puncher and some good names in his record I don't know much else about him.
Jimmy Wilde possibly holds the record, but officially 'only' has around 100. The offical record is the Ol' Mongooses' at the moment
Langford wasnt fighting in Mexico...he had a handful of fighters that he fought like 15 times each, And Rumor has it that Dempsey came right out and said " I will not fight Langford). And this was a time when the black fighters group not many white guys fought any of these black fighters from there own boxing association...But Langford was one of the few that did get to fight white guys he even fought a couple top 10 contenders in the HW division. Simply put Langford was a monster.
