I don't think that's true, cause the guy posts Kameda's name in threads where it "makes sence", meaning in threads where the question is always about fighters' rankings, p4p etc.
Kameda could be very good someday, but he's been fighting cupcakes lately and he has some huge defensive flaws, and can't really crack an egg. He's such a big star in Japan that I doubt he'll even come over here to fight. Basically, he's a star in Japan for being a huge arrogant *****. He's not popular because people like him, he's popular because he's a massive heel and people love to hate him. FWIW, he pretty clearly lost the fight that he won the belt on (although he clearly won the rematch). One of the better examples of a robbery in the last 5 years or so.
