I think it was good experience for Kownacki, who never fought a 12 rounder before and hopefully hit home to big Chris that he really needs to stop fighting, since he just doesn’t have it anymore.

Arreola had a new trainer and said he training harder for this fight than any other fight because he was gonna retire if he lost! Meanwhile Kownacki took the fight figuring it'd be an easy night like his fight against Washington and trained on Krispy Kreme Donuts!!

Robert Helenius saw Kownacki destroy Washington in 2 rounds so figured Washington would be easy pickin's and Helenius got KTFO in 8 by Washington...

Not sure if that was a great fight. Two slow walruses throwing their flippers around. I guess that's a little entertaining.

Not the greatest fight but at least these guys were trading punches instead of trying to land the one big punch. They reminded me a bit of Bowe vs Holyfield, except for their athleticism of course...

I was surprised of how clear the result was, thought Arreola won a round or two more. Expected a better performance of Kownacki however. Maybe in his next fight.

It should have been a 10-rounder but your reasoning is completely besides the point. There was no championship on the line and it wasn't an eliminator. Fights of which that is true should NEVER be scheduled for twelve, IMO, and I hate it when they are.

If Cris keeps fighting I'd recommend he doesn't do another 12 rounder like that. 10 max. Fight Bryan or Martin on a ten rounder.

Some are calling it Fight of the Year, but I say no way. Entertaining, yes, but not all that close, plus no knockdowns. I even wondered if they made Kownacki carry him after the bout got bumped up to main event and they needed to fill the time.

It was entertaining in the same way RNR boxing is. Both just looked like carnival fat men trading blows in a 3 rounder.

It would have been a classic if both fighters had bothered to train down to a respectable weight and could throw hard, well-leveraged shots past the first couple of rounds instead of resorting to pathetic slaps and arm punches. They were really evenly matched despite the ridiculous wideness of the scorecards, and landed a lot of leather a piece.

It was a very wild, action packed fight and you tend to get those fights when the guys are less skilled, over the hill and not defensively responsible. I mean let's be real, Brian Minto vs. Vinny Maddalone 1 was one of the 10 most action packed fights we've ever seen and there's a reason for that.............
