    Obviously Kovalev former champion, Beterbiev hasn't challenged for a world title yet.

    But who wins head to head and who is the better fighter? Who'd win if they fought in December?

    I've always liked Beterbiev over Kovalev.

    Whats the case for Beefy being elite?

    I get kovalev has a case for t, becasue hes only been beaten by elite.

    A couple of years ago I would have picked Kovalev, but now I'd pick Beterbiev.

    He is more hungry, younger, and probably has more confidence as well.

    Beterbiev has fought like 30 rounds in 4 years as a pro. That's asking an awful lot.

    Plus it would be a fair fight with corruption kept to a minimum. The finality would be determined in the ring by the fighters not by judges or some scumbag ref who let on combatant cheat and foul all night.

    Too bad one may be moving to CW and the other is suing his promoter and inactive.

    Tough fight to pick and as good a boxer as Sergey is... I just think Beterbiev is a different animal and would eventually land something Kovalev couldn't handle. And he wouldn't need a nut shot to do it.

    Kovalev boxes his head off and knocks him out. Beterbiev has no jab to contend with Kovalevs, and little in the way of defense/zero head movement. Can't see how he gets past Kovalevs jab, and he's gonna eat huge straight rights trying to get inside.
