By then Kovalev will be the longest reigning and greatest LHW Champion in History.:deal

I love Calzaghe but Kovalev has far too much power for him and he'd be put down and stay down.

woah the claturds are out in force - calzaghe wasn't the main man for mnore than the 36 minutes when he beat injured Kessler in Cardiff, after that he had no intention of defending his brief status as main man at SMW and ran from recovered Kessler and froch..

zaghes was the flavour of the half hour.

This time I go against Calzaghe. Kovalev is.... naturally bigger, stronger, and skilled enough to work the angles to his advantage.

I don't think Joe would be able to shoeshine and slap his way to victory by looking like he was in control and playing the aggressor. Kovalev would cut him off and corner him or at the very least put him on a bicycle on the way to a 120+ point victory.

Joe would make Kovalev look like a Roy Jones's opponent..

Joe would run into quite a few problems. Kovalev for his size has exceptional footwork and foot placement, he's also a fluid puncher that changes power and speed of his shots. This plus the fact that he is far larger and Calzaghe wouldn't be able to hurt him spells disaster for poor Joe.

Joe is a volume guy with quick hands and feet, but against someone like Kovalev who's also quick of hand and feet and larger, and the fact Joe has been clipped on a few occasions, Joe gets stopped.

Joe would have his way with Kovalev..there is levels to this boxing game and Joe is about two levels above slow Kovalev.

I like Kovalev and think he is the best Light Heavy out there..but Comparing Kovalev to Calzaghe is like comparing GGG to SRR.:deal
