lol. Yeah, a retirement of two days is going to impact Lacy REAL bad. Taylor should box this guys ears off but it will ultimately come down to whether or not Lacy can recapture the type of form he had when he was busting up guys like Reid.

Lacy wont recapture anything... Hes shot and should stay retired... The fight makes no sense, unless Taylor is shot too... Then we will have a fight... but a useless one.
Taylor by stoppage. Not trying to be funny, but this is another one that'll be ended by the corner thowing their towel in.
Lacy should do this. He'll make money and get one last bow on HBO. Still, he'll be out of there by the sixth round. Taylor is too much for him and will dominate him throughout. Lacy has had too much trouble and its worn away his talents. His slim wins over Typsko and Manfredo are VERY telling.
Taylor is doing this for the same reason Lacy is: money. Taylor has always been about that. That's why he's dodging an uphill fight with Carl Froch. He sees Lacy as a warm-up at super middle that allows him time to ready himself for the real fight with Froch for one of Calzaghe's old titles.
