I think the premature stoppage V Calzaghe means Manfredo may win this fight. He wasn't allowed to take the long and humiliating beating that Lacy did that has ****ed his head up. But anyway, what a **** fight, two of JC victims fighting for what exactly, ones ruined and the other was **** to start with. Do you think GBP have put it on because he thinks the UK fans are familiar with these two coz of the Joe fights?
i think it will be an enjoyable fight. if lacy is not shot he will beat manfredo and should score a highlight ko doing it. manfredo froze v calzaghe and hopefully he will not tonight and make it a give and take fight. lacy ko 5 is my pick. i think this is good matchmaking, styles will gell , and it is a good crossraods fight.
I hope the outcome of this match wil be... 1) Lacy will be redeemed as a class A but below elite fighter (using the definitions usually employed on east, my personal would be, that everyone boxing for a living would be elite as opposed to amateurs, with world class as the superior mark). 2) The boxingfans still talking about Manfredo as a just below world class boxer will oyster from now on and into eternity.
I think Lacy takes it for sure, but it could be closer than expected. Im gonna go with Lacy by TKO in the 9th.
lacy is an open book he is very easy to hit. manfredo has little defence and swaps it for his chin and pressure. lacy is a puncher but he has to take a while before he can ge tto your distance....when he then throws a cdombo which just rips people apart. manfredo boxes slightly with a bit of a jab but then his right uppercut smacks right under there chops.he is a puncher just too small on average to utilise it neither are quick by hand or foot. both need the win for recognition. crossroad affair IM BOUGHT
Lacy tko. round 8. good stoppage. he measures manfredo and gets his timing right. i know he has been working on his weak spots. he will also box a little more like he did versus vanderpool. he forgot about that going into his last few fights.
