Jim Lampley was so pro Cotto it was disgusting!! He never gave Margarito any credit during the fight until the KO.
Yeah i felt that was a bit unecessary. I didn't really need to show slomo of this guy bleeding to death. It was almost like a memorial for Cotto to RIP or something. It seemed ilke they were saying "may the vanquished champ Cotto RIP"... you will be missed" type of thing.
Yeah i felt it too; he seemed almost disgusted the fact that Margarito actually won. He almost acted like that wasn't supposed to happen and he seemed very upset and bothered by it. While Emanual Steward quickly accepted it and quickly hopped on the Margarito bandwagen and started giving Margo props once he noticed it was the beginning of the end. By the way Max Kellerman did a good job in mentioning some points in terms of the what could possibly be going through Cottos mind after a loss like that. Max actually did a good job today.

It was like a montage of the fight, but that wasn't what he was crying about. He was crying because one of HBO's cameramen is in the hospital fighting for his life against leukiema.
Nothing wrong with that. I though that Lampley was crying over some typically random stuff, that he always does.
Or maybe he was feeling emotional about his buddy who is dying from cancer who was absent from the broadcast. Next time, watch to the end of the show.
