That is kinda nice - let the kid know he's just a regular guy and there's nothing personal. At the end of the day they're just two sportsmen doing what they do. I wonder if Austin asked or if someone mentioned it to Erislandy and he offered - either way, the right thing to do IMO.

Still ain't sure about fighters bringing their kids to a fight....IDK - perhaps it's best the kids get to accept it as just another job, but I wouldn't want my little boy to see me get knocked down.

I wonder what Cotto's kids thought when they had to sit and endure the beatings he took from Margarito and Pacquiao :!: the poor mites must be scarred for life and now their papa trains in the same gym as Manny, adding to their neverending torment. :-(

These kids who go to the fights and watch their old man get beaten are probably traumatised for life. What are these Fathers thinking?

What's so traumatizing about watching your badass father boxing in front of a big crowd and TV cameras ? Win or lose, these are things kids are proud of.

I'm with you on this. That's the kind of thing kids will be telling all their friends about on the playground.

What you guys fail to realize is that fighters have a healthy and mutual respect for each other. The kind of respect that ALL OF YOU refuse to show/give them by calling them scared or bums. Yet they have the courage and determination to run for miles EVERY FCKN-MORNING, to show-up at the gym EVERY FCKN-DAY to work on their craft, skipping meals, killing themselves trying to make weight...all just for the honor and privilege to call themselves a PROFESSIONAL BOXER!!! All while you MFCK'ers sit your lazy fatazzes on the sofa eating Cheetohs.

 i was just talking to a friend of mine the other day how in hindsight that is an ugly loss for Cotto. He should have won by all means but he choked big time in that fight for whatever reason.
