why do a lot o people diss larry holmes? I mean the guy was one tough SOB with great skills , heart and had a lot of entertaining fights to his name. Isn't that what should make a fighter respected and liked?

Respect and being liked comes from not only how you carry yourself in the ring, but outside it also. He may have been a great HW, but outside the ring, especially post-career he's been a disrespectful bitter ****.

 

I always thought he seemed pretty cool, especially as he got older lol
