If Palle gets his way and this match is made how do you think it'll pan out? Does Larsen have enough built up anger to trouple Kessler?
we know palle is such an *******,that he would like to make this fight happen,so kessler could demolish larsen...that´s he´s agenda.... Kessler have said for years now that he would like to go to US,and have some big fights there.So that IS what Kessler want´s!!! IF Larsen become a worldchamp then we can start talking.... But palle should work his big ass off to get kessler that fight in the US.Period!!

Anger in a ring is not helping. An ice-cold head is. I don't think Larsen is sharp enough to trouble Kessler. I see too many small and large "holes" in Larsens defense. Kessler wil definitely use that to the fullest. On the plus site for LArsen is that he knows Kessler inside out from tons of training. Just don't think it is enough.
If Larsen somehow was able to beat Bute which I ont believe he is. Then this fight could be OK. But we all know what is going on in camp Palle and if this fight is Mogens' dream then I hope that Kessler can use it to get out of his contract. Still there is also another question if Taylor, Bute or Froch are ready to face Kessler yet. For the money I think a Larsen fight is fine for Kessler.
If we look by this trouble with Palle, and this fight actually happends! i think Kessler will be way to much for Larsen on this point of time! 4-5 years ago it would have been another story, and a fight i would really liked to see.. but Palle knows Mikkel will beat Mads now, so he just want to make money on it! IMO Kessler should just get rid of his promotor, and go to america.. there is no future for him if it continure this way! but he should do it in a way they both agree on and not start a "war" with Palle, it will destroy his career!
I just think Larsen must have a lot of anger towards Kessler for getting the shot at a belt while he was sick. Could be fun to watch them duke it out
Kessler has stated so very often that he sees no reason in fighting Larsen. On november Mogens Palle announced that Larsen needed a WBC/IBF or WBO-belt to lure Kessler in to a matchup. But on march 09 Palle turns 75 and Bettina Palle has decided to give old pop a birthday present - MADS LARSEN versus MIKKEL KESSLER !!! A silly fight that brings Kessler a no-win position. He has to KO Larsen. But Old Larsen concerned on his good looks ( All but one of his comeback-fights been deadly boring (novice Italian Cocco stoped in impressive fashion)) this will be a fight with Larsen doing nothing but trying to protect himself sticking out his right jab all night in order to keep Kessler at bay. It´ll be a very boring fight ! Unfortunately, Kessler may be forced to take this fight for more than one reason: 1) Mogens Palle has an option on 3 Kessler-defences in his contract. 2) Money. Mads Larsen has done a good job shouting out challenges in the Danish press. 3) There´s no one else who wants to fight Kessler within the next 3 month. 4) US-names ignore (fear) Kessler.
I think HBO wants Kessler on a show either on the undercard or against Taylor. The problem is that Mogens Palle operates with another plan - Kessler vs. Larsen. Kessler is not in the mood for another meaningless fight. He wants prestige as well as money. He wants to prove himself as the best in the world. Kessler is far from a hometown-boy. He really likes to fight away from home meaning he´s got no problems fighting in US, Australia, Germany or England.
