nah. he used his reach advantage quite well against thaxton until he got cut, but he won't have that advantage over khan. i'd go with a khan tko as well
It depends if Lawton fulfills his job description and gets knocked out. The weird thing is, ANYONE has a puncher's chance after what Limond did to him. Still, Khan will likely win by stoppage.
I do not think Lawton will win but I hope he does. Khan is a class act and should ko him. I do not know too much about Lton though, someone want to fill in for me?
Hes got a record of 20-3-1(4ko's) so it dosent appear hes got much punching power. hes fought jon thaxton but it got tko'd in round 7 by a cut to scotts head. Hes a stoke lad so i think were goin over notts cheer him on.
Limmond didn't have a punchers chance as such, he landed mulitple blows on Khan. I doubt Lawton has the ability to land the same sequence of punches on Khan.
Lawton was ****ing appalling against Judex meema two fights ago. he didnt utilise his jab, and struggled with the Nobby Nobbs fighter all night long. His performance against Thaxton shocked me to me boots as I didnt give him a hope. Should he get the jab going early he could keep Khan at bay, although i feel Amir will finish the job slightly quicker than Jono did, Khan TKO 5. Saying that Scotts got decent enough whiskers, it took a thunderous shot from Thaxton to finish him didnt it!
Lawton performed pretty well against thaxton, I guess FW is using him as a barometer for Khan, if Khan performs well or at least better then what thaxton did against Lawton, then we may see him against Earl or maybe even thaxton in december. It all depends on Khans performance me thinks.
Is the fight with Graham Earl in December official? There was a rumour they would both have a tune-up fight on the October card, then fight in December.. is that official?
Nothings official, apart from lawton, these been alot of conjecture, if he wins in o.k style then who,s left for him in britain, has to step up so has to be the likes of gomez, earl, I cant see Thaxton happening in Dec, but you never know.
